Strategic Partners
Empowering students, families, and educators through mindfulness and wellness initiatives
Private School Village has joined forces with True Voice the social wellness app, to bring mindfulness and mental wellness practices to private school communities. This partnership aims to provide students, families, and educators with the resources they need to enhance mental wellness, foster resilience, and build a stronger sense of community.
The Klingenstein Center at Columbia University's Teachers College, an organization focused on developing and strengthening leadership among teachers and admnistrators in independent schools, has partnered with PSV to launch a new initiative: the development of an Independent School Archival History Toolkit.
The toolkit will provide independent schools with a framework to conduct archival and oral history research in partnership with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and alumni. The framework will also help schools to organize and share their findings, engage their communities in dialogue, and incorporate new understandings into their school cultures and traditions.
Dr. Emily Bailin Wells began this month as the second post-doctoral research fellow at the Klingenstein Center. Emily is an independent scholar, adjunct professor, and the co-founder of Co-Lab Education Group-an equity-focused educational consulting and professional development organization.
